New Model: G-SHOCK GA-V01
From G-SHOCK, the brand that continues to evolve in its pursuit of toughness, comes a new series combining innovative structures and bold designs. These models embody G-SHOCK’s signature identity of “strength” with cutting-edge concepts that challenge conventional design norms. They feature an organic exterior shape created by combining angular components, a large fullscreen LCD, and newly developed shock-release hands. The center case protecting the module is covered by a single integrated part combining the bezel and band.
Large three-dimensional hour markers are placed on the upper surface of the glass, allowing them to double as impact-absorbing bumpers. This unique construction maintains G-SHOCK’s renowned shock resistance while delivering a distinctive and powerful exterior design. A newly developed magnetic holding structure transforms the shock-prone minute hand into a shock-release hand. The minute hand is secured using magnetic force in place of a fixed shaft, allowing it to absorb impact more readily. This innovation not only improves shock resistance but also allows for larger hands and greater design freedom.
Note: Due to the magnetic holding structure, the minute hand may wobble when exposed to impact or vibration. Additionally, after strong shock or exposure to intense magnetic fields, the hand may temporarily shift position but it will eventually return to its correct alignment within a few minutes. The analog-digital combination faces of these models feature a layered structure, incorporating a dial with open-work for added depth and a full-screen LCD. The design includes uniquely shaped hour and minute hands at the center, as well as a small hand within the LCD for a bold and modern look.
This series is available in a choice of four colors: classic G-SHOCK black, vibrant neon blue, neon yellow, and silver metallic. Equipped with a high-capacity battery and energy-efficient technology, these models deliver approximately 10 years of battery life, along with practical features such as alarms and LED illumination.
