Vans x Museum of Contemporary Art
Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, taps into its California roots once again for its first-ever partnership with a Los Angeles cultural institution: The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). Together, Vans and MOCA present a collection that celebrates culture, creativity, and California, in a two-drop release of limited-edition footwear.
As the defining museum of contemporary art, MOCA champions creative expression – a key tenet of the Vans brand – by offering compelling and groundbreaking exhibitions and programs for all. The Vans x MOCA collection leads with a first drop of Vans’ most iconic silhouettes reimagined with the museum’s logo – first created by graphic design icons Ivan Chermayeff & Tom Geismar in the 1980s – and a playful green-and-white dot pattern.
MOCA’s graphic logo will be reinterpreted across Vans classics including the Classic Slip-On, Sk8-Hi, and Authentic, as well as the EVDNT UltimateWaffle, updated for the collection with a bold greyscale MOCA colourway across the sidewall.
