Vans x Civilist x Carsten Fock 'Back To The Roots' Collection
Vans and legendary Berlin-based skate brand, Civilist join forces with artist Carsten Fock on a new footwear collection.
An ode to the city of Berlin, the drop includes three Sk8-Low colourways designed with help from Carsten Fock. Renowned for his graphics and paintings inspired by fashion, pop culture, politics and society, Fock’s pencil-drawn letters are embroidered and printed on the suede Sk8-Low.
The souvenir-esque collection features “Say Goodbye to the City” embroidered on the sidewall, while “Back to the Roots” is printed on the sockliner and “I once was in Berlin” covers the shoebox. Two contrasting black and white colourways, the latter being the Civilist exclusive, sit alongside a subtle tonal navy colourway.
